Valley Of The Ancient

 There is a story that tells of an ancient guardian of a great volcanic island, a Magcargo who lived so long it's age is unknown. The island which was home to many pokemon began to quake and tremble like never before and threatened to tear itself apart. The ancient Magcargo called upon it's strength and that of the earth to protect it's home and the pokemon who lived there,  a great torrent of flame and ash surrounded Magcargo, the earth quaked one last time, then all fell silent. The ash fell and the skies began to clear, and there at the centre of the valley stood the Magcargo, who had become one with the island and turned into volcanic stone. The other pokemon mourned their friend and praised him for all that he had done.
 Since that day Magcargo continues to watch over the island as a silent statue,  pokemon come from all over the island to pay their respects to the great Magcargo, who silenced the rage of the island that would have consumed them all.

Slugma is this weeks pokemon, so even though the story is mainly about it's evolution... there are still a lot of Sugma in the picture haha.
